The Wall

I’m not made for love, I was born too sad.
–Emil Cioran

THE  WALL is the series of photographs created at the break of 2014 and 2015 is a part of a greater cycle called ‘The Moment of Dispair’ also issued in the form of a small publication.

The leitmotif and the main theme of the series is the loneliness of man in a world of transformation, in which the only constant feature is a permanent change. There are also two important literary references that have become both the ground as well as artistic inspiration for the cycle. These are the books “On The Peaks of Despair” by Emil Cioran and “The Book of Disquiet written by Bernard Soares” written by Fernando Pessoa.
